In April, Nvidia announced its acquisition of AI infrastructure orchestration and management platform. It is anticipated that the deal is worth $700 million.

“Run:ai has been a close collaborator with NVIDIA since 2020 and we share a passion for helping our customers make the most of their infrastructure,” said at the time Omri Geller, Run:ai co-founder and CEO. “We’re thrilled to join NVIDIA and look forward to continuing our journey together.”

It is Nvidia’s biggest Israeli acquisition since March 2019’s $6.9 billion Mellanox acquisition. The 2016-founded Nvidia Israel R&D center has grown by 100% to 4,000 personnel since the acquisition. Nvidia also announced it was buying Israeli AI company Deci for $300 million shortly after Run:ai.

Insight Partners and Tiger Global Management, who had previously led the Series B investment. With the addition of TLV Partners and S Capital VC to the round, the total amount of investment raised to date has reached $118 million.

The Kubernetes-based container platform for AI clouds from Run:ai pools and shares GPUs effectively by allocating the required amount of processing power, which can range from a few GPUs to many GPUs or several GPU nodes.
