Pine Labs Launches Unified Payments Platform to Simplify Merchant Payments

The company said the new platform is meant to help merchants make their payment systems easier to manage. It also gives customers choices when they pay.

Pine Labs Brings Multiple Payment Services Together

Pine Labs’ platform brings together card payments and other ways to pay using a technology system. This means merchants can handle payment options from one place instead of using several different systems.

The platform also offers payment plans through Pine Labs’ network of banks and brand partners. These plans let customers pay over time. Can help merchants handle larger purchases.

Pine Labs also includes acquiring services as part of the platform. This brings together payment acceptance, acquiring and consumer financing in one system.

Fave Adds Customer Engagement Features

The platform is supported by Fave, the consumer payments and engagement app from Pine Labs.

Fave gives rewards, cashback programmes and offers that are funded by merchants. Pine Labs said these features can help merchants bring in customers get people to come back and create loyalty.

The company also works with international payment networks like American Express, Mastercard and Visa. It also supports payment methods such as GrabPay, Alipay+ and WeChat Pay.

Pine Labs Expands Singapore Operations

Pine Labs said it already works with several businesses in Singapore including Courts, iStudio, CapitaLand and FairPrice.

“Merchants in Singapore are looking for ways to make payments simpler while giving customers options when they pay. By combining acquiring, payment acceptance, instalment payments and customer engagement features in one place we are helping merchants reduce complexity and find ways to grow " said Prasanna Varadharajan, Country Head, Singapore, Pine Labs.

Pine Labs works in than 20 markets and said its international business is growing quickly. The Singapore launch is part of the company’s plan to grow in countries.

The company recently added payment options in the Philippines by working with GCash, one of the largest e-wallet companies in the country.
