Pride Health, a company based in Thailand, has raised US$300,000 (around RM1.26 million) in a pre-seed funding round. The investors include A2D Ventures, Enterprise Singapore, First Move, and depa’s Digital Startup Fund (S2).
Pride Health is known as Asia’s first LGBTQ+ digital healthcare platform. It offers healthcare services that are inclusive and designed specifically for LGBTQ+ individuals.
The new funding will help the company expand across Asia and improve its technology to make healthcare more accessible and stigma-free for the LGBTQ+ community.
Even though Thailand is seen as one of the most LGBTQ+ friendly countries—where 8–10% of the population identifies as LGBTQ+—many still face unequal access to healthcare. Across Asia, more than 70% of LGBTQ+ people say they face barriers to safe and understanding medical care because of stigma or lack of trained professionals.
Pride Health is working to close these healthcare gaps through a digital platform that offers online consultations with licensed LGBTQ+ doctors and specialists.
The platform uses AI technology to provide personalised care in areas like preventive health, mental health, sexual health, and gender-affirming treatments.
Users can also buy medicines, health products, and diagnostic tests through the platform’s e-commerce section. Pride Health’s subscription plans include biomarker tracking and personalised wellness support to help users stay healthy in the long term.
Since its launch in March 2025, Pride Health has served over 1,800 users, offering personalized and inclusive healthcare. The company has a 54% repeat user rate showing strong trust and satisfaction within the LGBTQ+ community.
With this positive response and growing partnerships, Pride Health is now expanding to Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Vietnam, and the Philippines to reach more users across Asia.
“Healthcare access should never depend on identity. We are excited to back Pride Health in this journey, as they scale and enable inclusive care—digitally, privately, and with compassion,” said Ankit Upadhyay, co-founder and general partner at A2D Ventures.
Bruce Li, co-founder and CEO of Pride Health, added, “Everyone deserves the right to their unique healthcare needs. Across Asia, too many LGBTQ+ people are still denied that right—stigmatised, misunderstood, or forced to hide who they are to access appropriate care. We’re building Pride Health so that everyone can access inclusive healthcare that is judgement-free and innovative.”
Around the world, more digital healthcare platforms for LGBTQ+ people are starting to appear. In Europe, for example, startups are creating the continent’s first LGBTQ+ digital clinics, showing a global move toward inclusive and personalized healthcare.
This trend highlights how healthcare is becoming more open, understanding, and focused on individual needs everywhere.
With its new funding, Pride Health plans to grow its user base and add new types of medical services, such as gender-affirming care, preventive medicine, wellness, and longevity support.
The company will also use the funds to improve its AI technology and automation systems, helping it expand faster across Southeast Asia.
