SpinQ Technology said it has raised 600 million yuan (about US$83 million) in a Series C+ funding round.
The company will use this money to research advanced quantum chips with more qubits and to expand its standard production lines.
This achievement means the company has raised nearly 1 billion Chinese yuan (about US$145.3 million) in its Series C funding, all within just three months.
The company will mainly use the new funding to develop advanced quantum chips with more qubits and to expand production of its main hardware products.
“To transition quantum technology from the lab to real-world industrial impact, we must deploy powerful, programmable, and scalable systems,” said Dr. Jingen Xiang, Founder and CEO of SpinQ. “This funding accelerates our mission to deliver universal, fault-tolerant quantum computing to the global market.”
SpinQ’s main product, the Ursa Major superconducting quantum computer, is a complete system. It includes powerful quantum processors (QPUs), precise cooling systems, and an advanced control and measurement system.
These technologies are designed to help achieve progress in areas like materials science, finance, and biopharmaceutical research.
SpinQ works with both superconducting and NMR quantum technologies. Its products are used in more than 200 institutions across over 40 countries. The company focuses on providing quantum solutions for industries, education, and cloud platforms.
