Razorpay has partnered with Sarvam to make online shopping easier using voice commands. With this, users can search for products, place orders, and make payments just by speaking in a natural way.
This partnership combines Sarvam’s AI technology with Razorpay’s payment system to support voice-based shopping in multiple Indian languages, making it more simple and accessible for users.
As part of the first step, Swiggy will be added to Indus App. This will let users order food by simply talking to a voice-based AI assistant.
This partnership will be introduced in three main stages to make voice-based shopping easier and more useful.
In the first stage, users can shop and order directly through conversations inside the Indus App, starting with Swiggy.
In the second stage, businesses will be able to add voice shopping features to their own apps and websites. For example, a voice assistant is already being tested on The Derma Co’s website, where users can find products and buy them using voice commands.
In the final stage, Sarvam’s AI system will be connected to Razorpay’s Agent Studio. This will help businesses and developers create AI agents that can talk in multiple languages and handle transactions smoothly.
The main goal of this partnership is to make shopping more natural and simple, where people can just talk instead of using apps to complete everyday transactions.
