RedBird IMI completed its largest acquisition since the joint venture’s founding in December 2022 when it acquired All3Media for $1.45 billion. The acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery and Liberty Global was approved by US, UK, and German regulators. All3Media’s chairman will be Jeff Zucker, while Sara Geater and Jane Turton will continue to be in executive positions.
The biggest independent production firm in the UK, All3Media, runs 50 production labels and creates television programmes like “Call the Midwife” and “Fleabag.”
RedBird IMI, a partnership between RedBird Capital, located in New York, and Abu Dhabi’s International Media Investments (IMI), has successfully acquired All3Media for a sum of $1.45 billion. The joint venture was established in December 2022, making this purchase its biggest deal to date.

At a cost of £1.15 billion ($1.45 billion), Warner Bros. Discovery, Inc. and Liberty Global Ltd., the joint owners of All3Media, were acquired. Germany, the UK, and the USA have all given their regulatory permission to the acquisition. Hit television programmes like “Fleabag,” “Gogglebox,” and “The Traitors” are produced by All3Media.
After the acquisition, incumbent CEO Jane Turton and COO Sara Geater will continue to oversee the business, with RedBird IMI CEO Jeff Zucker taking on the role of chairman of the All3Media board.

RedBird IMI had previously been in negotiations to purchase Telegraph Media Group, the publisher of newspapers in the UK, but it pulled out of the bid last month.
