Rime Closes $2 Mn+ Seed Funding to Bring Real-Time AI Automation to Businesses

Saudi startup Rime, which develops AI solutions for business operations, has raised more than US$2 million in a Seed funding round.

The funding round was led by Seedra Ventures. Other investors included Athlah Investment, Unity Invest Partners, and several well-known angel investors.
Rime will use the new investment to grow its business, expand into new markets, and speed up the development of its AI technology platform.
Before this Seed round, Rime had already raised a Pre-Seed round led by Seedra Ventures. The latest investment shows that the venture firm continues to believe in Rime’s vision and leadership team.
Today, Rime connects more than 6,000 cameras to AI agents across 2,000 operational sites. The company serves many large retail and service businesses across the GCC, making it one of the fastest-growing Physical AI platforms in the region.
Mohammed Al Marshadi, Co-founder of Rime, said: "We are moving into a new era of Physical AI, where systems move beyond screens to interact and make decisions directly within operational environments. We strongly believe that processing data on-site via edge computing is the foundational pillar for running field-level AI agents. Founded in 2024 by Mohammed Almarshidi and Arif Alotaibi, RIME has built a platform that helps businesses use AI Agents, Edge Computing, and AIoT (Artificial Intelligence of Things) to make fast, real-time decisions at their operational sites.
The company will use the new funding to strengthen its presence across Saudi Arabia and continue improving its AI platform with new features and capabilities.
RIME also plans to help more businesses adopt AI solutions that can automate and improve their daily operations, making work faster, smarter, and more efficient.
