Mid-market private equity firm CX Partners is leading a $50 million investment round for Sabine Hospital and Research Centre.

Mid-market private equity firm CX Partners is leading a $50 million investment round for Sabine Hospital and Research Centre.

Brd, Singapore The hospital chain released a statement stating that Tanas Capital, a growth-stage private equity firm, is a member of the investor consortium.

“CX Partners and the consortium of investors share our vision of making high-end fertility, birthing and neonatal care affordable and accessible to the most remote towns of India. The investment of $50 million validates our strong clinical fundamentals, business practices and also recognised the immense need for better fertility, mother and childcare in India,” said Dr. Sivadasan Sabine, Founder and Chairman of Sabine Hospital & Research Centre.

CX Partners operates in the financial services, consumer goods and services, healthcare, IT, and outsourcing sectors. The company claims to manage $1 billion in assets for its funds and co-investors, including a portfolio of 29 businesses.

“While upholding the utmost ethical standards and clinical excellence, the organisation has demonstrated remarkable growth, with a CAGR of 25% over the last three years. We see the potential in further expanding Sabine Hospitals to adjacent markets, drawing upon our experience investing in healthcare, attracting high quality professional leadership, and putting in place systems to manage growth,” said Vivek Chhachhi, Managing Partner, CX Partners.

Across two locations in Kerala, Sabine Hospital and Research Centre, which was incorporated in 2016, manages 300 patients, including 60 NICU beds. The hospital provides gynaecological surgeries, delivering, newborn care, IVF and other fertility therapies, and other mother and child healthcare services.

In addition to Kerala, the hospital network says it does over 6,000 IVF cycles, performs 3,000 deliveries annually, and draws patients from Bangladesh, Oman, and the Maldives.
