Saudi Startup DOO Raises $1.7M to Enhance AI Customer Support Across GCC

Riyadh-based DOO has raised USD 1.7 million in a funding round. The round was led by Merak Capital, with support from Plus VC and other regional investors.

“By leading this round in DOO, we are backing a company with the potential to set a new standard for customer experience in the region, while further establishing Saudi Arabia as a hub for AI innovation,” said Abdulelah Alshareef, VP of Venture Capital at Merak Capital.

With the new funding, DOO plans to speed up product development and improve integrations with major CRMs and e-commerce platforms.

The company also aims to expand its customer support platform across Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC region.

“With this funding, we’re accelerating our mission to make AI the frontline of customer engagement in the GCC and beyond. Our rapid traction and strong revenue growth show the demand is real, and this capital will allow us to double down on product innovation and scale across the GCC,” said Ali Mohsen, CEO & Co-Founder of DOO.

DOO, founded in 2024 and based in Riyadh, is an AI-powered customer support platform designed for enterprises.

DOO uses advanced natural language processing along with regional language expertise to provide AI-driven support that understands Arabic dialects and cultural nuances.

By focusing on this localized approach, DOO aims to grow its adoption among enterprises across the GCC.

“Customer experience is the new battleground for businesses, and AI is the weapon of choice. Our platform doesn’t just automate responses. It personalizes them in local dialects and brand tone, giving every customer the feeling of being heard instantly,” said Ali Mohsen, CEO & Co-Founder of DOO.
