
Gurugram-based NBFC Seeds Fincap has Secures more than Rs 100 crore, or around $10.4 million, in its Series B round. The round was led by the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation.
Existing backers Z47 and Lok Capital also took part in the round. Norinchukin Capital and Alteria Capital were the other investors in the funding.
Seeds Fincap will use the new money to grow its lending business. The company plans to enter more markets, add branches, hire field staff and improve its technology and risk management systems.
How Will Seeds Fincap Use the Funding?

A part of the funding will go towards expanding the company's physical presence in rural and semi-urban areas. Seeds Fincap also plans to add more field employees and improve the tools it uses to track and manage lending risks.
The company is working towards reaching Rs 1,000 crore in assets under management (AUM) by March 2027.
About Seeds Fincap
Seeds Fincap was started in 2021 by Subhash Chandra Acharya, Avishek Sarkar, and Sumeet Dhall.
The company provides loans to small businesses, traders and individual borrowers who may find it difficult to access credit through traditional channels. Its focus includes nano enterprises and other small businesses.
Seeds Fincap provides loans between Rs 50,000 and Rs 10 lakh. The company looks at the cash flow and day-to-day operations of a business while assessing borrowers.
Seeds Fincap's Growth
The company said it was profitable in both FY25 and FY26. It disbursed around Rs 620 crore in loans during FY26.
As of August 2026, Seeds Fincap had an AUM of Rs 722 crore. Its network had also grown to 164 branches, with more than 70,000 active borrowers.
The latest round follows a Rs 50 crore funding round in 2025, which was led by Z47 and Lok Capital. Before that, Seeds Fincap raised more than $8.5 million in Series A funding in July 2024. That round was led by Lok Capital and Matrix Partners India, now known as Z47.
