Singapore-Based Kabam Robotics to Shut Down

Singapore-based Kabam Robotics, a company that develops AI-powered security robots and management software, plans to cease operations on November 20, 2026, according to an email sent to its customers.

The company has not publicly disclosed the reason for the shutdown. In its email, Kabam apologized for the inconvenience and asked customers with pending issues to contact the company before operations end.

Impact on Employees and Customers Remains Unclear

Kabam has not confirmed how many employees may be affected by the closure. Its LinkedIn page lists 54 people associated with the company, but this figure does not represent a verified employee count.

The company has also not clarified what will happen to its existing customers, deployed robots or ongoing service agreements after November 20.

Security Robots Deployed at Singapore Hospitals

Kabam's technology has been used in security applications in Singapore. A published case study by Taronga Group describes the deployment of Kabam's AI-powered security robots at SingHealth hospital facilities to support hospital safety.

However, it remains unclear how the planned shutdown will affect these deployments or the customers relying on the company's technology.
