Lim Wai Mum is a Singaporean engineer who became an entrepreneur in the healthcare industry. Lim completed his engineering from the National University of Singapore.

One day, In 2016, while giving out lunchboxes to the elderly, Lim noticed a senior who was not receiving proper care from healthcare facilities because they were unable to move.

Then, This engineer’s mind realized that it’s a problem and decided to solve it. but how?

At that time, Lim thought that in the healthcare sector, I would make a platform that could be used by anyone, anywhere, and anytime.

In 2017, Lim launched Doctor Anywhere, an easy-to-use platform that is effective for all users. Lim says, “We’ve been disrupting the healthcare industry by developing innovative solutions to bridge gaps in the healthcare ecosystem.”

Lim had worked in private equity and Temasek Holdings for almost 10 years, and he used his experience here. With the help of their services, users can take care of their health by integrating online and offline platforms. Their Singapore-based startup expanded throughout Asia, including Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, and India.

  • Lim Wai Mun was selected as EY’s Entrepreneur of the Year for 2022.
