A strategic Partnership between Singapore Telecommunications Limited (Singtel) and Nscale, a fully vertically integrated artificial intelligence company and cloud platform, would enable both businesses to utilize their GPU capacity throughout Southeast Asia and Europe.
According to a statement released by Singtel, the goal of this partnership is to satisfy the increasing demand from businesses around the world for generative AI, high-performance computing, and data-intensive workloads.
The release states that Singtel would use Nscale’s AMD and NVIDIA GPU capacity in Europe to support its customers’ workloads in the region’s most important markets.
This capacity guarantees Singtel’s ability to meet high-volume demands on demand and uphold service excellence, particularly in situations where more capacity is required.
Similarly, through a connection with Singtel’s unique orchestration platform, Paragon, Nscale will be able to leverage Singtel’s NVIDIA H100 Tensor Core GPU capacity in the Southeast Asian region for their clients’ workloads.

Furthermore, the sustainable AI-ready data centers of Singtel’s regional data center arm Nxera will supply the data center capacity required to enable the large-scale deployment of Nscale GPU capacity as the latter grows throughout the area.
“As we continue to augment our GPUaaS offerings, we are forging a series of strategic partnerships to grow our ecosystem and broaden our service availability for our customers, Our partnership with Nscale will allow our customers to tap into their high-performance GPU resources on demand, unlocking new possibilities for innovation and efficiency,” said Bill Chang, Chief Executive Officer of Singtel’s Digital InfraCo and Nxera. Our commitment to delivering cost-effective solutions, backed by our state-of-the-art data centres, ensures businesses can access high-performance GPU resources quickly and seamlessly,” he added.
This cooperation will enable Singtel and Nscale to expand their GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS) offering globally, giving clients the flexibility of a larger geographic footprint and strong infrastructure support. Their GPU clusters will likewise be more productive.
Josh Payne, Nscale Founder and Chief Executive Officer, said, Nscale is the vertically integrated GPU cloud building the global infrastructure backbone for generative AI. Our sustainable AI-ready data centre together with our GW pipeline of data center capacity uniquely positions us to deliver sustainable AI infrastructure at any scale for customers worldwide, Through this strategic partnership, Nscale will provide Singtel customers with unmatched access to sustainable, high-performance, and cost-effective AI compute to accelerate enterprise generative AI in the region and beyond,” he added.
In February, Singtel had earlier declared that it will be introducing GPUaaS later in the year, giving businesses access to NVIDIA’s AI processing capacity.
They will be able to swiftly and affordably implement AI at scale in order to spur growth and innovation. Additionally, Singtel recently announced a strategic alliance with Bridge Alliance to expand its GPUaaS capabilities to businesses throughout Southeast Asia, as well as a relationship with Vultr in the US.

When Nxera’s new, hyper-connected, AI-ready data centers open in Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia starting in mid-2025, Singtel’s GPUaaS will be expanded to operate in these locations.
Following several recent announcements, including as a collaboration with Open Innovation AI to supply 30,000 GPUs of consumption to the Middle Eastern market, Nscale has formed a strategic alliance with Singtel.
In addition, Nscale recently acquired Kontena, a pioneer in AI data center solutions and high-density modular data centers, expanding its capacity to offer high-performance, reasonably priced AI infrastructure to satisfy the generative AI market’s expanding expectations.
