SoftwareOne, a global company known for its cloud and software services, has signed a partnership agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS). The goal is to speed up digital transformation, cloud adoption and the use of generative AI (Gen AI) across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.
Under this multi-year partnership, SoftwareOne will strengthen its AWS expertise to help customers in Australia-New Zealand, Southeast Asia, Greater China, and India.
The partnership will focus on four main areas: moving and upgrading systems to the cloud, using data and generative AI, creating new solutions on AWS, and supporting AWS Marketplace. SoftwareOne will also keep training its team to earn AWS certifications, so they can provide the best support to customers across the APAC region.
“This agreement marks a pivotal step in our mission to empower organizations across APAC to accelerate digital transformation using Gen AI,” said Varun Paliwal, President APAC and Middle East of SoftwareOne. “By combining SoftwareOne’s expertise with the comprehensive cloud services of AWS, we’re delivering tangible business outcomes and long-term value for our customers.”
“This collaboration with SoftwareOne demonstrates our joint focus on helping customers across APAC accelerate both cloud transformation and responsible generative AI adoption,” said Corrie Briscoe, Director of Partner Core, Asia Pacific & Japan, AWS. “By combining SoftwareOne’s deep regional expertise and trusted customer relationships with AWS’s breadth of services—including Amazon Bedrock—we’re creating practical pathways for organizations to modernize their operations, innovate with confidence, and scale solutions that drive measurable impact.”
SoftwareOne plans to create and launch a range of generative AI (Gen AI) solutions using Amazon Bedrock, customized for industries like retail, manufacturing, and financial services.
To help companies adopt these tools faster, SoftwareOne will offer ready-to-use AWS-approved templates and packages. These include AI assistants made for specific industries and tasks, helping businesses move quickly from testing to full use.
AWS will support this effort by providing technical guidance and working closely with SoftwareOne through its Generative AI Innovation Centre Partner Alliance. This will also give SoftwareOne access to expert training and faster delivery support.
SoftwareOne and Crayon have come together to form a global company focused on AI-powered software and cloud solutions. With operations in more than 70 countries and a team of about 13,000 experts, the new organization combines global reach with local knowledge to help businesses cut costs, grow faster and manage complex IT systems effectively.
By using their strong skills in cloud, software, data, and AI, the company aims to help organizations modernize their technology, drive innovation and get the most value from their digital investments.
