[Funding Alert] Egypt-based Sprints Raises $3 million in bridge round Funding

The $3 million bridge round for Egypt-based edtech company Sprints.ai was led by Disruptech Ventures and included investments from CFYE, EdVentures, and other investors.

Ayman Bazaraa and Bassam Sharkawy founded Sprints in 2020 with the goal of closing the IT skills gap in the MEA area by providing competent candidates with a guaranteed hiring program.

EdVentures and CFYE are among the investors in Sprints.ai, an AI-powered educational technology that is transforming education for the future. The company has announced the completion of a $3 million bridge fundraising round.

Sprints is the first end-to-end platform that bridges the IT talent gap, including talent evaluation, personalized learning journeys, and a top-paying job guarantee. It was co-founded by Ayman Bazaraa and Bassam Sharkawy. Being the first EdTech company in MEA to offer guaranteed hiring programs, Sprints lets graduates pay only once they are hired successfully over a period of three years.

It was established in 2020 and has since placed graduates in over 300 tech companies worldwide, delivering over 2.5 million learning hours. With the goal of educating one billion students in ten years, it provides top-notch, agile-based learning experiences that enable businesses to develop outstanding technical teams in a variety of fields, such as cybersecurity, AI, data science, mobile, web, IoT, and cloud computing.
