Pet Care Startup Scooby’s Club Raises $250K to Expand Dog Daycare Services

The company provides premium dog daycare and boarding services in residential neighbourhoods, making pet care more convenient for dog owners.

Scooby’s Club will use the new funding to expand across Bengaluru, hire and train canine coaches, and improve its expert-led dog care services.

“Pet care in India started with the basics: food, grooming and vet services, but the way we live with our pets has changed. They are no longer just at home waiting for us; they are part of our routines, our weekends, our travel plans and, for many families, as close to us as children. That has changed the standard of care pet parents expect,” said Animeha Singh.

“Through our own experience, we saw how difficult it can be to find a place you can truly trust when you need to leave your dog behind. There are plenty of boarding and homestay options, but very few that offer the trust or standards of a Taj. That is the gap we set out to address with Scooby’s Club, creating neighbourhood spaces where dogs are safe, understood and genuinely happy.”

“With more dual-income-no-kids DINK and single-income-no-kids SINK households, pets are the new kids in the family, sometimes the only kids and at other preceding kids, and people are willing to spend more on their health, happiness and everyday care. But finding a reliable place to leave your dog for a few hours, a day or even longer can still be surprisingly difficult. Scooby’s Club is solving this everyday gap by bringing together canine wellbeing, safety and convenience in a way that fits into the lives of today’s pet parents,” said Ujwal Sutaria, founder and general partner at TDV Partners.

Scooby’s Club was founded in 2025 by XLRI Jamshedpur alumni Animeha Singh and Ankit Gupta. The startup offers professional dog daycare and overnight boarding services through centres in residential neighbourhoods.

The company uses dog behaviour principles to create a safe and comfortable environment. Each dog is tested for temperament and grouped by size to make socialising safer and less stressful.

Scooby’s Club centres are fully indoor and climate-controlled. They use sound, scent and colour-based activities to keep dogs mentally active and engaged throughout the day.

The startup also provides allergy-sensitive care, personalised attention and 24/7 CCTV access, allowing pet owners to check on their dogs remotely.
