Cyera Raises $400 Million from Goldman Sachs to Expand AI Security

Israeli cybersecurity company Cyera has raised $400 million from Goldman Sachs Alternatives in an extension of its Series G funding round.

SUMMARY

  • Cyera raised $400 million from Goldman Sachs Alternatives.
  • The investment extends its Series G, led by Evolution Equity Partners.
  • The funding will support AI security product development and market expansion.
  • Cyera has raised more than $2 billion in total funding.

The investment was made by Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives, while the Series G round was led by Evolution Equity Partners. The fresh capital will support Cyera’s AI security products and its expansion across the U.S. federal market, EMEA and APAC.

What is Cyera?

Cyera is a cybersecurity company that helps enterprises manage and protect access to sensitive data. Its platform connects data security with identity management, allowing companies to control which people, machines and AI agents can access their data.

The company has expanded its focus to address security risks linked to autonomous AI agents. Its Agent Guardian and Cyera Endpoint products track AI agent activity, including tool calls and database queries, helping enterprises understand what AI agents can access and what actions they take.

Funding Details

Cyera raised $400 million from Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives as an extension of its Series G round, which was led by Evolution Equity Partners.

The latest investment comes three months after Cyera raised $600 million at a $12 billion valuation. The company has raised more than $2 billion in total funding.

The latest investment does not represent a new valuation. Cyera is currently valued at more than $12 billion.

How Will Cyera Use the Funding?

Cyera will use the new capital to continue developing its AI security products. The company also plans to expand its presence in the U.S. federal market and grow further across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and the Asia-Pacific region.

Who Founded Cyera

Cyera was founded in 2021 by Yotam Segev and Tamar Bar-Ilan. The company started with a focus on data security and has since expanded into AI security and non-human identity management.

Its acquisition of Oasis Security added non-human identity management to its platform. This allows Cyera to connect information about sensitive data with the identities that can access it.

Cyera has grown to more than 1,500 employees across 18 countries. Its valuation increased from $3 billion in 2024 to $6 billion in 2025, $9 billion in January 2026 and $12 billion in June 2026.

Market and Business Growth

Cyera is expanding as enterprises increasingly deploy autonomous AI agents that can use corporate identities, access databases, call software tools and work with sensitive information without individual human approval.

The company is positioning its platform around both data security and the identities used by humans, machines and AI agents.

What Happens Next?

Cyera plans to continue developing its AI security products while expanding in the U.S. federal market and international markets across EMEA and APAC.

leadership statements

“Global 2000 enterprises are telling us the same thing: they need to trust what AI agents can see and do before they can scale them,” said Yotam Segev, Cyera’s cofounder and CEO. “AI infrastructure is moving faster than the security architecture around it. This investment accelerates our work to bring data and identity together, so enterprises can give agents access with confidence and keep that access aligned with business intent.”

“Securing AI will be one of the defining categories in enterprise technology over the next decade,” said Irit Kahan, Managing Director within Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives. “Cyera was the first to bring data and identity together, and as agents multiply faster than anyone can track, the gap between what they’re trusted to do and what they can actually reach is becoming increasingly dangerous. Cyera’s technology, customer traction, and execution position it to become the platform enterprises rely on to secure AI.”
