UiPath, a global company specialising in automation and artificial intelligence (AI) software, has partnered with President Information Corporation (PIC), an IT company based in Taiwan. Together, they aim to help businesses improve their testing processes with agentic testing.
UiPath said on Wednesday that PIC is helping its customers speed up application testing and improve their operations using the UiPath Test Cloud. This is a crucial component of their plan to transition to the cloud and expand over time in Taiwan and globally.
The partnership with PIC will primarily focus on the UiPath Test Cloud, a novel approach to software testing that leverages advanced AI. This approach enables testers to work more efficiently throughout the entire testing process, resulting in improved results and cost savings.
By utilising AI agents to support testers, businesses can accelerate product releases, enhance software stability, and deliver higher-quality software to customers.
The collaboration focuses on assisting businesses across various industries. It aims to reach a broader customer base and accelerate the adoption of AI technology in Taiwan.
This is especially important as businesses face a more complex global landscape with increased uncertainty and economic challenges.
Given these challenges, accelerating the shift to the cloud has become a key strategy for companies seeking to be more flexible, stronger and remain competitive.
However, many companies still struggle to integrate disparate systems, manage lengthy testing times, incur high operating costs and experience delays in launching their products during their cloud transformation.
As companies strive to modernise quickly and operate more efficiently, the demand for intelligent testing solutions is growing. Twenty-five per cent of IT budgets are now allocated to quality assurance and testing.
According to a study by IDC for UiPath, companies using Test Cloud have made testing 36% more efficient, doubled the speed of releasing new features, cut outages by half, and reduced the time it takes to fix problems by 93%.
As part of the partnership, PIC helps its customers entirely automate their application testing using UiPath Test Cloud, making it easier to create test cases, prepare data, and run tests.
This makes it easier to connect systems, speeds up the move to the cloud, improves efficiency, and reduces development time.
This provides businesses with a more substantial advantage over their competitors and creates a more stable foundation for long-term growth, both in Taiwan and globally.
Now, PIC can continuously monitor the health of essential services, even when they’re running live, which lets more people get involved in testing. This allows developers to focus more on creating new features.
“Our collaboration with UiPath has paved the way for a more efficient and scalable test automation process, enabling us to accelerate customers’ cloud migration and support their ambitious growth plans across the local market, as well as Asia,
“In doing so, we’re able to deliver faster, more reliable applications while optimizing resources and reducing costs—ensuring we’re well-positioned for the next decade of growth,” said PIC.
Richard Chen, Regional VP of Sales for Greater China at UiPath, said that agentic automation is a game-changer for companies like PIC. It helps them improve key processes, such as test automation, boosting efficiency and accelerating growth.
“By automating key workflows, businesses can scale faster, reduce costs and focus more resources on innovation,
“As we herald the dawn of agentic AI, agentic automation will be critical to driving digital transformation for businesses, enhancing the security and efficiency of automated process governance, achieving sustainable growth, and maintaining a competitive edge,” he added.
