Thailand-based Nightify has raised US$500,000 in a seed funding round. The round was led by A2D Ventures, with support from angel investors from industries like hospitality, retail, and consumer businesses.
The company plans to use the funds to grow its network of venues across Thailand, improve its product features, and prepare for expansion into other Southeast Asian markets.
The nightlife and entertainment industry in Southeast Asia is very important, but it is often not taken seriously. This sector includes bars, clubs, live music venues, and other hospitality entertainment, and together it represents a multi-billion-dollar opportunity.
Thailand, one of the world’s most popular tourist destinations, welcomed over 35 million international visitors in 2023.
“People don’t go out just to transact,” said Wuthi Bunyapamai, co-founder and CEO of Nightify. “They go out to feel something, to connect, discover, and be part of something bigger. Our goal is to become the default layer for nightlife, where every night out begins.”
A2D Ventures’ Ankit Upadhyay pointed directly to team pedigree as the investment’s primary driver. “Nightify is powered by a formidable Thai team with an elite pedigree. The founders bring experience from firms like Agoda, Accenture, Bitazza, Minor International, and Oppo. This mix of consumer tech, scale-up, and hospitality expertise is exactly what’s needed to solve real industry challenges with regional potential.”
As Nightify grows, it is becoming more deeply connected to how venues operate. The platform is now focusing on things like POS integrations, payment processing, and complete operational tools, making it harder for businesses to switch to other solutions.
Nightify’s business model has different ways to make money. The main one is charging a commission or booking fee on reservations made through its platform. This is a common method and grows as more people use the service.
Apart from this, Nightify also earns through subscription or SaaS fees. Venues pay to use tools like CRM, event management, and analytics, which gives the company a steady and recurring income.
