Thunes, a fintech company based in Singapore, has partnered with EzyRemit, a digital money transfer service from Australia, to offer fast, secure, and affordable cross-border payments for people around the world.
Through its direct integration into Thunes’ proprietary Direct Global Network, EzyRemit now offers customers access to real-time payouts to billions of mobile wallets, bank accounts, cards, and cash pickup locations in over 45 countries across Asia, Africa, Europe and the Americas, Thunes said in a statement on Wednesday.
Thanks to this partnership, users can now send money across borders quickly and easily, with the speed and clarity today’s digital users expect—improving the overall experience.
EzyRemit has offices in Australia, Japan, New Zealand, Canada, the U.S., and Vietnam, and offers money transfer services to over 150 countries.
This partnership is especially helpful in busy money transfer routes like Australia to the Philippines, where millions of overseas workers send money home regularly. In 2025, over $183 million is expected to be sent digitally from Australia to the Philippines, with this amount growing by more than 8% every year through 2029.
With Thunes’ advanced real-time payment system, EzyRemit can now better serve these users by offering faster, safer and easier transfers. The partnership also supports global growth.
Thunes’ Fortress Compliance Platform ensures secure transactions, while its SmartX Treasury System helps manage currency exchange transparently and flexibly.
“EzyRemit’s focus on providing seamless, real-time cross-border payments to empower overseas communities aligns perfectly with Thunes’ mission to enable the next billion end users to participate in the global economy,
“Together, we’re making international money movement faster, more transparent and more inclusive,” said Andrew Stewart, Chief Revenue Officer at Thunes.
Meanwhile, Allan Nguyen, Co-founder of EzyRemit, said the firm’s alliance with Thunes unlocks endless new opportunities for them and their customers.
“We’re now able to deliver seamless, real-time payments to more parts of the world than ever before,
“Our mission is to empower overseas communities with fast, secure, and affordable financial solutions, and the ability to leverage Thunes’ trusted Network helps us to make that a global reality,” he added.
