What is UltraSight?

UltraSight is a healthcare technology company developing AI-guided tools for cardiac ultrasound imaging. Its Echosystem platform combines structured training, real time AI guidance and analytics to help clinical providers perform focused echocardiography examinations under qualified physician oversight.

The company aims to address limited access to specialized professionals who can acquire high quality cardiac ultrasound images. Its software has received FDA 510(k) clearance to assist medical professionals with cardiac ultrasound scans.

UltraSight's platform is currently deployed at more than 10 commercial sites, including intensive care settings.

Funding Details

UltraSight raised $24 million in Series B2 financing, led by Alive HealthTech Growth Fund.

The round also included Deep Insight, Star51 Capital, Connecticut Innovations and eHealth Ventures. Existing investors Mayo Clinic Ventures, NYU and Iron Nation also participated.

The funding comes as UltraSight works to expand the commercial use of its FDA-cleared technology and develop additional AI-guided cardiac imaging applications.

How Will UltraSight Use the Funding?

UltraSight will use the fresh capital to accelerate commercialization of its Echosystem platform in the U.S.

The company also plans to develop new workflows for intensive care and circulatory support, while pursuing strategic collaborations to expand adoption across healthcare settings.

Who Founded UltraSight?

UltraSight was co-founded by Davidi Vortman, who serves as the company’s CEO. The company develops AI-powered cardiac imaging technology through its Echosystem platform, which provides real-time AI guidance to help healthcare providers acquire cardiac ultrasound images.

UltraSight is focused on expanding access to cardiac imaging across critical care, inpatient and outpatient settings, oncology and screening. Its technology is designed to support trained healthcare providers while keeping physician oversight in the imaging process.

Market and Business Growth

UltraSight is expanding its platform as healthcare providers look for ways to improve access to cardiac ultrasound. The company is using its existing commercial deployments to integrate AI assisted imaging into clinical workflows and build evidence around its technology.

Its current strategy focuses on expanding U.S. adoption while developing additional applications for higher-acuity cardiovascular care.

What Happens Next?

With more than 10 commercial deployments already underway, UltraSight plans to expand its U.S. commercial footprint and develop additional AI-enabled workflows for cardiac care.

The company will focus on bringing its AI-guided image acquisition technology into more clinical settings while continuing to work with healthcare organizations and strategic partners.

Leadership Statement

“We are entering this next stage as our FDA-cleared portfolio continues to expand to support broader cardiac imaging workflows,” said Davidi Vortman, CEO and co-founder of UltraSight. “This financing will help our efforts to translate that momentum into wider market adoption, deeper strategic collaborations and greater access to high-quality cardiac ultrasound.”

“UltraSight combines clinical evidence with a scalable commercial model in a market constrained by access and workforce shortages,” said Dudi Klein, co-founder and managing partner of Alive. “We believe the company has developed technology, leadership, and strategic collaborations that position it to support the evolution of cardiac workflows across care settings.”
