007 Venture Partners, a new early-stage fund based in Sydney, has launched with AU$5 million (US$3.1 million) to support founders solving big global problems.
Led by Bond Sudarta, an early Airbnb operator and experienced angel investor, the fund backs startups that blend strong business potential with a meaningful social mission.
Sudarta, founder and general partner of 007 Venture Partners said, “We are not career VCs — we are operators and builders first, The most valuable companies I have worked with were led by founders who had heart, hustle, and a deep sense of purpose.”

In a crowded market of early-stage investors, 007 Venture Partners stands out by backing startups that combine purpose with profit. Sudarta believes this isn’t just a belief—it’s smart strategy. Startups led by mission-driven founders tend to be more resilient and create long-term value.
he explains “When evaluating potential investments, we place a strong emphasis on the founder’s purpose, It is about the founder’s deep, personal connection to the problem they are solving — often informed by lived experience or conviction.”
The company’s mission must match its business model. “Solving real problems should be central to the business—not just for show,” says Sudarta.
007 Venture Partners focuses on high-impact areas like healthcare, fintech, edtech, B2B, and climate. Sudarta is especially interested in solutions that fix long-standing issues or gaps in these fields.
In healthcare, this means tools like AI diagnostics, personalized treatment platforms, and digital health solutions for underserved groups. In fintech, it’s about mobile banking and financial tools that help small businesses grow.
For climate, the fund is exploring innovations in renewable energy storage, sustainable food systems, and circular economy technologies. “We are committed to investing in technologies that drive climate resilience,” Sudarta says.
