Tanium has appointed Satyen Desai as Regional Vice President for ASEAN. This is a senior sales and customer leadership role, aimed at helping the company grow in Southeast Asia.
Desai will focus on driving business growth in the ASEAN region. Companies today are under increasing pressure to manage and secure employee devices, especially with hybrid work models and complex IT systems. Managing devices is also becoming more connected to cybersecurity as threats like ransomware and credential theft continue to target businesses and government networks.
Tanium has also updated its Asia Pacific leadership team, assigning new and expanded roles in sales, solution engineering, and marketing to support its regional growth plans.
Junya Saito has been appointed Vice President for APAC at Tanium, where he will lead the region’s commercial strategy. His role includes driving revenue growth, managing sales teams, developing talent, and expanding into new markets.
James Greenwood is now Associate Vice President for Solution Engineering. He will oversee pre-sales and solution engineering across the region, including technical discussions, product demonstrations, and customer evaluations.
Marketing for Asia Pacific and Japan will be led by Yasir Yousuff, Vice President of Marketing for APJ. He will be responsible for planning and executing marketing strategies in the region.
Tanium said these leadership changes are aimed at improving engagement with customers and partners. The company is also focusing on helping organisations maintain constant visibility of their devices and gain faster control over large and complex endpoint environments.
“Autonomous Endpoint Management is becoming foundational for organizations that need to strengthen security and resilience, while operating at greater scale and speed,” said Satyen Desai, Regional Vice President, ASEAN, Tanium.”Autonomous Endpoint Management is becoming foundational for organizations that need to strengthen security and resilience, while operating at greater scale and speed,” said Satyen Desai, Regional Vice President, ASEAN, Tanium.
“Endpoints remain a primary entry point for threats across Asia, especially for governments and critical sectors. In this complex IT environment, customers need real-time visibility and control, plus the ability to autonomously recommend and execute changes with confidence. Tanium is purpose-built for this shift, and our leadership team will work closely with customers and partners to understand their pain points, reduce risk, and build certainty across their endpoint estates,” Desai said.
Tanium offers a platform called Autonomous Endpoint Management. It helps companies manage and secure large numbers of devices, such as laptops, desktops, and servers.
The platform allows businesses to discover and track devices, manage software and updates, fix security weaknesses, and handle risk and compliance tasks. It also provides tools for threat detection, incident response, and improving employees’ digital work experience.
