Zepto has teamed up with Revant Himatsingka, also known as Food Pharmer, and his brand Only What’s Needed to make things more transparent for customers.
In a LinkedIn post, Chandan Mendiratta said that lab reports for Only What’s Needed products will now be available directly on the Zepto app.
Mendiratta wrote, “Happy to partner with Revant Himatsingka (Food Pharmer) and Only What’s Needed by Food Pharmer to build more trust in the protein supplement category.”
He added that the initiative builds on Himatsingka’s focus on encouraging consumers to read product labels, stating that “we are now including even the lab reports of every sample on the Zepto app itself.”
A video was also shared with the post to explain the new feature in a simple way. It showed how the feature works on the Zepto app.
In the video, when users add products from Only What’s Needed to their cart, they can easily check the product label and detailed lab reports for each batch directly in the app.
The video explained that this is part of a bigger effort to make food shopping more clear and trustworthy. While many products are sold on quick commerce platforms, this feature is different because it shows lab reports for every batch.
Chandan Mendiratta also said that checking labels and reports is important. He believes that people in India will now start checking both before ordering on Zepto.
