AI startup Alchemic has raised Rs 2.5 crore (US$262,000) in a pre-seed funding round. The investment was led by AJVC, with participation from a group of angel investors.
The fresh funding will be used to improve the company's AI platform and develop new features.
Alchemic will also use the investment to expand its engineering and sales teams, and help more enterprise customers adopt its AI products.
Founded in 2025 by Sreenadh Narayanan and Maurice Dhara, Alchemic develops AI agents that automate customer research for businesses. Its platform manages the entire research process from interviewing customers to analyzing their responses and creating reports.
The platform helps companies save time and effort by replacing many manual research tasks. Businesses can get customer insights much faster than with traditional research methods.
According to the company, its AI can interview hundreds of customers at the same time and generate detailed reports within a few hours. The reports also include customer quotes and video clips for better insights.
Alchemic offers its platform in two ways: as a managed customer research service and as an enterprise software solution, giving businesses flexibility based on their needs.
The startup says its revenue has grown five times over the past six months due to increasing demand for AI-powered customer research tools. It competes with global startups such as Listen Labs, Outset, Conveo, and Strella, which also use AI to automate customer research and feedback analysis.
