Animoca Brands Invests $1 Million in Crypto Platform Superior.Trade

The company’s venture arm invested $1 million in Superior.Trade. This platform is built to help AI agents research markets, test trading strategies, and carry out trades on their own.

Superior.Trade is connected to Animoca’s Minds platform, which was launched on February 5 with Ethoswarm. Minds allows users to deploy independent AI agents without needing to manage any hardware.

Within this system, Superior.Trade works like a “skill” that AI agents can use. It lets them understand trading strategies in simple language, test them using past market data, and then automatically execute trades in real markets while following set risk rules.

Animoca Brands designed its system using a “composable skills library.” This means instead of building one large trading bot that does everything in a fixed way, the system allows AI agents to combine different small skills and use them together as needed.

In this setup, agents on the Minds platform can mix and match different abilities depending on the situation, making the system more flexible and adaptable compared to traditional trading bots.

Public tests carried out in April and May showed that these AI agents were able to successfully use multiple trading strategies in real market conditions. These included methods like mean-reversion scalping and automatic stop-loss management for different crypto tokens.

The investment in Superior.Trade is just the beginning. Animoca Brands has also launched a Minds Investment Program with up to $10 million in funding starting May 5. This program aims to support early-stage developers building new tools and applications on the Minds platform.
