Cybersecurity startup Capsule Security raises $7 million in seed round

Capsule Security, a cybersecurity startup that works on AI agents, has come out of stealth mode and raised US$7 million in seed funding, led by Lama Partners and Forgepoint Capital International.

The company is building a system it calls a “runtime trust layer” for AI agents. This system helps monitor and control AI while it is working.

These AI agents can access data, perform tasks, and interact with different business systems inside companies.

“AI agents are quickly becoming a new class of privileged user in the enterprise, except they can act at machine speed and they do not behave like deterministic software,” said Naor Paz, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder, Capsule Security.

Paz continued, “That creates a dangerous gap between what security teams can govern today and what agents can do in production. Capsule closes that gap by enforcing trust at runtime, inside the execution path, so teams can move fast with agents while staying in control of what those agents can access and execute.”

Founded in 2025 by Naor Paz and Lidan Hazout, Capsule Security is a cybersecurity startup that helps make AI systems safer especially the ones used by businesses. It builds tools to track and control how these AI systems work so that companies can avoid risks and misuse.

AI systems can access data, complete tasks, and connect with different business systems. Capsule Security ensures all of this happens safely and in accordance with the right rules.

Overall, it helps businesses use AI securely and reliably every day.
