Aspire and Payboy Team Up to Make Payroll Easier in Singapore

Aspire, a fintech company from Singapore, announced on Tuesday that it has connected its system with Payboy, a payroll software company also based in Singapore. This connection will make managing payroll easier for businesses.

Aspire said this is the first time a fintech company has linked directly with Payboy to help businesses handle payroll faster.

Usually, payroll management takes a lot of time and can be complicated. Businesses often spend many hours fixing payroll files by hand to send payments through banks, which can lead to mistakes and problems.

More than half of HR professionals in Singapore say they spend up to 6 hours each week fixing payroll mistakes, updating records, or checking data. This time could be better used to help the business grow and improve.

The new connection between Aspire and Payboy solves this problem. It lets businesses easily send payroll data from Payboy straight into Aspire without needing to fix the files manually.

This more straightforward process cuts down mistakes and saves a lot of work. Now, payroll can be done quickly in just two simple steps: export the data and upload it.

“We are proud to be the first fintech to integrate with Payboy,” said Andrea Baronchelli, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Aspire.

“Aspire is leading the way in simplifying financial operations,

“We’re not just offering faster payroll; we’re redefining what modern, automated finance should look like for ambitious businesses,” he added.

Raphael Ng, General Manager of Payboy, said this partnership shows their shared goal: to create business tools that are easy to use, follow the rules, and help businesses grow.

“Together with Aspire, we’re helping teams move faster with confidence and enabling data-driven decisions,” he added.

The statement says the partnership fits with Aspire’s bigger goal of making business finance easier by connecting with trusted tools.

The Payboy connection adds to Aspire’s list of payroll tools, showing their promise to make financial tasks simpler and more automatic for businesses and entrepreneurs in Singapore.

Aspire is a finance platform that helps modern businesses worldwide manage their money in one easy place. It supports over 50,000 companies with services like international payments, controlling expenses, and handling bills.

Aspire is based in Singapore and has more than 600 employees working in nine countries. It serves customers in over 30 markets.

The company is supported by top global investors like Sequoia, Lightspeed, Y-Combinator, Tencent, and PayPal.

In 2023, Aspire raised $100 million in a Series C funding round that was very popular with investors, and it also announced it is now making a profit.
