XTransfer Partners with Bank of China

China-based B2B cross-border payments company XTransfer has partnered with Bank of China (Hong Kong) (BOCHK) to provide international payment and foreign exchange services to foreign trade businesses. The agreement was signed on November 2, 2026, during Hong Kong FinTech Week.

The partnership aims to make cross-border financial transactions easier for businesses operating in Hong Kong and other international markets.

Partnership to Support International Payments

Under the agreement, BOCHK will contribute its banking settlement and foreign exchange capabilities, while XTransfer will provide its cross-border payment network and risk management systems.

The combined services will help foreign trade companies manage international collections, payments and currency exchange through the two companies' financial infrastructure.

XTransfer Expands Banking Partnerships

XTransfer said it is BOCHK's first corporate partner under this arrangement. The agreement is part of the company's broader strategy to work with banking institutions and expand its cross-border financial services.

The company has also been expanding its international operations. It has secured multiple payment licences in the United States and recently announced five additional licences to strengthen its presence in the market.

BOCHK Strengthens Business Banking Services

Bank of China (Hong Kong) provides corporate banking and trade finance services to businesses. It also offers account-opening services designed for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Hong Kong.
