Moneyview Raises $38.3 Mn from Anchor Investors to Strengthen Business Ahead of IPO

Digital lending platform Moneyview has raised Rs 327.5 (us$38.3) Mncrore from anchor investors ahead of its Rs 1,092 crore initial public offering (IPO). The Bengaluru-based fintech allotted 9.63 crore shares at Rs 34 per share to 12 anchor investors on September 23.

How Will Moneyview Use the Funds?
Moneyview plans to use Rs 325 crore from the fresh issue to support loan disbursals under default loss guarantee (DLG) arrangements.
Another Rs 250 crore will be invested in its NBFC subsidiary Whizdm Finance to strengthen its capital base. The remaining funds will be used for general corporate purposes.
