Aspire Partners with Stripe to Improve Business Payments

Aspire, a finance platform for businesses based in Singapore, has teamed up with Stripe, a global payment company, to help businesses get paid faster and more easily.

Aspire said in a statement on Thursday that this partnership gives businesses in Asia more ways to get paid. They can now receive payments from around the world using credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

It’s important for businesses to have financial flexibility, especially in B2B (business-to-business) dealings, where payments often take a long time to come through.

As more businesses start using virtual cards, 64% of them now expect to be able to pay for their purchases online.

Research shows that businesses that don’t accept card payments lose about 4.6% of their income on average. This shows how important it is to offer different ways for customers to pay.

Aspire’s partnership with Stripe helps solve this problem by letting Aspire users accept payments through credit cards and local options like Google Pay, Apple Pay, GrabPay, and WeChat Pay. Customers can pay directly through invoices or payment links.

This helps businesses offer their customers more flexible, convenient, and easy ways to make payments.

New businesses can also start accepting card payments right away through Aspire without needing to build a website or set up complicated payment systems.

“At Aspire, we are constantly looking for new ways to help businesses grow faster and operate more efficiently,” said Andrea Baronchelli, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Aspire.

“This partnership with Stripe aims to address two critical pain points – speed and flexibility,

“Together, we are removing the friction of money, empowering businesses to focus on what they do best: growing and scaling their operations,” he added.

Paul Harapin, Stripe’s Chief Revenue Officer in Asia Pacific, said that small and medium-sized businesses make up more than 97% of all companies in the Asia Pacific region. He added that these businesses are a vital part of every country’s economy.

“Working together, Aspire and Stripe help ensure that SMBs fully benefit from cutting-edge technology to enjoy seamless and flexible payment solutions that accelerate their cash flow so they can succeed in today’s competitive landscape,” he added.

The statement said that this partnership is an important move towards Aspire’s goal of giving global businesses the financial tools they need to succeed in today’s digital world.
