
Biome, a venture studio, has completed the first phase of its fundraising, bringing in support from entrepreneurs and strategic family offices.
Biome is designed for experienced founders who want to build new startups from the ground up. It provides strong hands-on support and helps launch a few carefully chosen startups each year by combining strategy, talent, and funding in one model.
Biome’s first round of funding includes well-known backers like BVR Mohan Reddy, Prasad Yerneni, and Abhinav Reddy, along with family offices of Raj Phani (Zaggle), Aditya Vuchi, and the Phoenix Group.
These investors are not just providing money—they also bring strong business networks in areas like enterprise, infrastructure, and innovation, which adds great value to Biome’s startup-building approach.
Biome has committed INR 100 crore over the next three years to help launch and grow high-impact startups with strong hands-on support. Its early projects include a secretive AI startup in the US, led by a well-known AI expert, and Zoop. Money, which aims to make home loans more accessible.

Money. “While UPI moves money in seconds, secured credit still takes weeks. That is the bottleneck we are solving. Our partnership with Biome has been crucial. Their full-stack team has helped us build quickly, set up core functions, and execute with focus,” he added.
Biome is a venture studio led by Srinivas Kollipara, Madhu Poomalil, Kaustubh Patekar, and Zaran Bhagwagar. It helps build startups from scratch as a co-founder.
