Cars24 Cofounder Gajendra Jangid Steps Down as CMO Role

Gajendra Jangid, cofounder of Cars24, is stepping back from his role as Chief Marketing Officer after working with the company for 11 years.

The company said he is taking a break from daily work but will still stay connected with the brand, its road safety program Crashfree, and its overall mission.

This is another major exit at Cars24. Himanshu Ratnoo, who was the CEO of its India used-car business, resigned in March.

He joined the company in 2020 as Vice President and later became CEO in 2024.

The company is also preparing for an IPO (Initial Public Offering), as mentioned by CEO Vikram Chopra.

His exit comes at a time when several leadership changes are happening at the Gurugram-based company. Recently, Himanshu Ratnoo stepped down, and Ankit Bhalla also left the company.

Reacting to this, co-founder Vikram Chopra thanked Gajendra Jangid for his contribution. He said Jangid played an important role in building the brand, leading marketing, and creating strong teams and platforms.

With many senior leaders leaving in a short time, Cars24 seems to be going through internal changes while still focusing on growing its business in a competitive market.
