Oct 14, 2026 | By Nguyen Minh

Bengaluru-based startup Circle has raised Rs 25 crore (approximately $2.6 million) in a seed funding round led by Nexus Venture Partners. Existing investors Titan Capital and Myntra co-founder Raveen Sastry also participated in the round. Ajith Pai, Chief Operating Officer of Delhivery, joined as an angel investor.
The startup previously raised Rs 3.4 crore in a pre-seed round led by Titan Capital in November 2025, with participation from Raveen Sastry.
The latest funding will help Circle expand its operations, improve its technology and build a stronger network for product verification and delivery.
How Circle Will Use the Funding
Circle plans to use the new capital to expand beyond Bengaluru and strengthen its technology and operations.
The company will invest in AI-powered pricing tools to help sellers list products at appropriate prices. It also plans to improve product discovery and verification to help buyers find suitable products and make more informed purchasing decisions.
Another priority is expanding its logistics network and Trust Hubs. These facilities support product verification and fulfilment, helping the company manage transactions as it enters new markets.
Circle's Business Growth
According to the company, Circle facilitated around Rs 25 crore in pre-owned goods sales during its first year of operations. It also reported attracting more than one million visitors and generating 100,000 listings in Bengaluru.
Circle said sellers typically find buyers within three days. This is intended to offer a faster selling experience than traditional classifieds platforms, where products may remain listed for weeks or months.
India's Recommerce Market
India's recommerce market presents an opportunity for platforms that make second-hand transactions easier and more trustworthy.
ResearchAndMarkets estimates that the country's recommerce market will reach $5.91 billion in 2026 and grow to $8.61 billion by 2030. The report projects a compound annual growth rate of 9.8% between 2026 and 2030.
What Lies Ahead?
Circle plans to use its seed funding to enter markets beyond Bengaluru and strengthen its technology, verification and logistics capabilities. Its expansion will focus on making pre-owned goods transactions more convenient for buyers and sellers.
The company's ability to maintain trust, deliver a consistent customer experience and scale its operations will be important as it grows in India's resale market.
About Circle

Circle was founded in 2025 by Chirag Kataruka and Ankit Misra. The company operates a managed customer-to-customer (C2C) marketplace that helps people buy and sell pre-owned products.
Unlike traditional resellers, Circle does not purchase and hold inventory. Instead, it manages transactions between buyers and sellers, including product verification, payments, logistics and seller payouts.
The platform covers several product categories, including smartphones, gaming consoles, cameras, furniture, watches, handbags and sneakers. It combines AI-powered tools with human verification to make second-hand transactions more convenient and reliable.
