Contech startup BRKZ Raises Strategic Investment from SIC

Saudi Arabia-based construction technology company BRKZ has received a strategic investment from the Saudi Industrial Investment Company (SIC). This marks an important step as the company moves from being just a procurement platform to becoming a full industrial supply chain solution provider.

BRKZ currently serves more than 350 small and medium businesses, working with around 1,600 suppliers and offering over 7,300 products. The platform is driven by demand from contractors and helps factories connect with buyers more easily.

This investment will support the growth of digital systems in industrial buying across Saudi Arabia. It also strengthens the role of local platforms in boosting industrial development, in line with Vision 2030.

This investment is an important milestone for BRKZ as it moves from a simple procurement platform to a complete industrial supply chain solution. The company is using technologies like AI, cloud manufacturing, and new payment systems to make buying and selling easier.

SIC’s investment will help factories become more productive, get better access to funds, and use their production capacity more efficiently.

Mr. Fahad Al-Naeem, CEO of SIC, commented on the significance of this strategic move: “We are investing in BRKZ because it addresses a real-world challenge in the industrial supply chain. By facilitating supplier access, providing payment flexibility, and utilising untapped production capacity, BRKZ is building a commercial infrastructure for the industrial sector. Our role at SIC is to accelerate and scale this model to serve more industrial SMEs, directly supporting the Kingdom’s ambition to become a global manufacturing hub.”

Mr. Ibrahim Manna, CEO of BRKZ, stated: “At BRKZ, we believe factories are a primary engine for economic growth. We support them through value-added services tailored to their needs. AI technologies allow us to operate at a higher speed and efficiency, offering the best prices and enhancing the user experience across the supply chain. This investment reflects SIC’s confidence in ambitious Saudi companies; we view this as a strategic partnership and a great responsibility to continue building a tangible impact in line with Saudi Vision 2030.”

Founded in 2023 by Ibrahim Manna, BRKZ offers a wide range of suppliers and materials through its platform. It also gives users different options for delivery and payment to make the process more convenient.
