Australian advertising technology startup Cuttable has Secures $20 million in Series A funding to expand its AI-powered platform for creating digital advertisements. The funding round was led by Airtree Ventures, with participation from existing investors Square Peg Capital and Rampersand. The investment values the company at more than $100 million.
Cuttable develops technology that helps brands turn existing photos and videos into advertising creatives for platforms such as Meta and TikTok. The company aims to simplify ad production by using artificial intelligence to generate multiple advertising variations from a brand's existing content.
How Will Cuttable Use the Funding?
The new funding is expected to support Cuttable's growth, product development, and expansion into international markets following its US launch in 2026.
Cuttable's platform analyzes a brand's Meta content and Shopify order data to create new advertisements using existing marketing assets. It also tracks the messaging used in each creative, including price promotions and product storytelling, helping brands organize and test different advertising approaches.
Before an advertisement is published, it must be approved by a human, keeping a review process in place for AI-generated content.
Who Founded Cuttable?

Cuttable was founded in 2023 in Melbourne, Australia. The company is led by co-CEOs Sam Kroonenburg and Jack White, alongside Chief Operating Officer Ed Ring.
Sam Kroonenburg previously co-founded A Cloud Guru, an online cloud computing education platform that was acquired by Pluralsight in a deal valued at approximately $2 billion in 2021.
Why Is This Funding Important?
The investment comes as businesses increasingly use AI to reduce the time and cost involved in producing digital advertising campaigns. By automating parts of the creative process, Cuttable aims to help brands generate and test more ad variations without producing every asset manually.
However, the company faces growing competition from major advertising platforms. Meta introduced additional AI-powered creative tools in 2026, including features designed to generate brand-aware advertising content and create video variations from static assets.
Cuttable's ability to demonstrate measurable improvements in advertising performance, production speed, and campaign management will be important as it competes with tools built directly into advertising platforms.
What’s Next for Cuttable?
With $20 million in fresh capital and a valuation exceeding $100 million, Cuttable is positioning itself to expand its AI-powered advertising technology. Its next phase of growth will depend on adoption among brands and marketers, the effectiveness of its generated creatives, and its ability to differentiate its platform from the native AI tools offered by Meta and other advertising networks.
