Oct 21, 2026 | By Nguyen Minh

Hong Kong-based fintech company FundPark has secured a financing commitment of up to $250 million from Bain Capital to expand lending support for small and medium-sized e-commerce businesses. The financing package includes an initial commitment of $100 million and an additional $150 million, subject to certain conditions.
The deal is expected to strengthen FundPark’s institutional funding capacity and support the next phase of growth for its technology-enabled lending platform.
Funding to Support E-Commerce Businesses
FundPark provides financing to online businesses using technology and real-time operational data. Unlike traditional credit assessments that rely heavily on conventional financial indicators, the company evaluates merchants’ sales and business activity to determine their financing needs.
The funding can help eligible e-commerce businesses manage inventory purchases, marketing expenses, fulfilment operations, and expansion plans.
