V-GREEN Expands EV Charging Network Across the Philippines

V-GREEN a company that develops EV charging infrastructure has signed agreements with the Bataan Provincial Government and Clean Fuel, a major fuel company in the Philippines, to expand electric vehicle charging and battery swapping stations in busy areas of Bataan and Cavite.

The project aims to make electric vehicles easier and more convenient to use for both car and two-wheeler owners. It is also expected to help increase the adoption of EVs across the Philippines.

Under the agreement, V-GREEN and the Bataan Provincial Government will work together to plan, build, and operate an EV charging network across the province. The network will cover one city and 11 municipalities, helping Bataan become a leading example of electric vehicle adoption in the Philippines.

V-GREEN plans to install 600 charging stations and 1,200 battery swapping stations across the province. The company will handle the installation, operation, and maintenance of the network, while the Bataan government will help with permits, recommend important locations, and coordinate with local government units.

At the same time, V-GREEN has signed another agreement with Clean Fuel to study the development of EV charging stations at busy fuel stations in Dasmariñas, Cavite.

Clean Fuel is one of the largest independent fuel companies in the Philippines, with more than 100 stations across Luzon. The company shares V-GREEN’s goal of supporting cleaner and greener transportation.

Through this partnership both companies will identify suitable locations for EV charging stations and explore adding EV infrastructure to Clean Fuel’s existing fuel station network. This will allow EV users to charge their vehicles more conveniently during their regular trips.

These new agreements will also support VinFast’s upcoming launch of electric scooters in the Philippines by ensuring battery swapping stations are available from the beginning. At the same time, the expanded charging network will make it easier for current VinFast electric car owners to use their vehicles, helping build a stronger EV ecosystem in the country.

Hon. Jose Enrique S. Garcia III, Governor of Bataan, said: "This collaboration reflects our commitment to advancing sustainable mobility in our province. By working with V-GREEN, we are building the foundation for an EV ecosystem that promotes innovation, strengthens environmental responsibility, and prioritizes long-term development."

Mr. Nguyen Anh Quynh, Global CEO of V-GREEN, said: "Expanding EV infrastructure requires both scale and accessibility. Through our partnerships with government and private sector stakeholders, we are building a charging network that supports real-world usage and makes electric mobility more practical for Filipino drivers."

V-GREEN was founded by VinFast founder Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong to build and expand EV charging infrastructure that supports VinFast’s global growth. The Philippines is one of the company’s important markets.

By developing charging and battery swapping networks across the country and at the local level, V-GREEN is helping make EV charging easier, more available, and more practical for people in the Philippines.
