Doosan Partners with LG CNS on AI, Robotics, and Data Center Innovation

As part of the partnership, the two companies will form a joint task force within a month to develop detailed business plans. They will work together on data center and cloud projects, including integrating Doosan Mobility Innovation’s hydrogen fuel cell technology into LG CNS’s data center business and improving Doosan’s cloud infrastructure using LG CNS’s expertise.

The companies will also collaborate on eco-friendly logistics solutions. They plan to expand their hydrogen fuel cell-powered VTOL (vertical take-off and landing) logistics business, which they have been developing together since 2025, to support greener and more efficient transportation services.

In the areas of robotics (RX) and AI transformation (AX), Doosan and LG CNS plan to combine their advanced technologies to create new business opportunities. They will use hydrogen fuel cells together with LG CNS’s robot learning and operation platform, Physical Works, to develop robots and humanoid technologies.

The two companies will also work together to strengthen Doosan’s agentic AI capabilities. They plan to identify practical business applications for the technology and create a roadmap for how it can be implemented using LG CNS’s AI platform.

In addition, Doosan and LG CNS will collaborate on autonomous maintenance systems that can predict and prevent equipment failures. By combining agentic AI, hydrogen drones, and digital twin technology, they aim to improve monitoring, fault detection, and repair processes in factories, power plants, and other large industrial facilities.

"We will quickly produce cooperation results that lead to actual commercialization, from AI equipment prediction at manufacturing sites to industrial innovation using robots."

Through this cooperation spanning data centers, robots and AI, we will further enhance the future value of both companies."
