Edtech Startup ProLearn Raises $3.15 million in Pre-seed Round

Bengaluru-based edtech startup ProLearn has raised ₹30 crore (US$3.15 million) in a pre-seed funding round led by BEENEXT. The round also included participation from Eximius Ventures, Antler, and several angel investors.

The new funding will help ProLearn improve its AI and reasoning systems, build more curriculum-based learning content, and hire skilled people in AI, product, and growth teams. The company will also use the money to prepare for its public launch and expand its market reach.

“The idea behind ProLearn is simple: every student should have access to a personal tutor who understands how they learn, adapts in real time and helps them stay engaged throughout the journey. That kind of personalised attention has historically been expensive and inaccessible to most students in India. We are determined to change that,” said Ravneet Singh, founder and CEO of ProLearn.

“An AI tutor that patiently listens to you, understands your learning level, and makes learning interactive, fun and retentive. Such a product, delivered at an affordable price point, has the potential to improve the learning outcomes of more than 100 million students in India,” added Saksham Pant, principal at BEENEXT.

Founded in April by former vedantu executive Ravneet Singh, ProLearn is building an AI-powered learning platform for school students (K–12). It will work like an interactive study partner that helps students learn in real time. The platform is also designed to support students preparing for competitive exams like JEE and NEET.

The AI tutor, which has not been launched yet, will adjust according to each student’s learning speed. It will talk with students, explain topics in simple ways, listen to their responses, and ask questions based on how well they understand the subject.
