Elbit Systems Acquires Blue White Robotics to Strengthen Autonomous Robotics Portfolio

Elbit Systems Ltd.’s FUSE has completed the acquisition of Blue White Robotics Ltd. (Bluewhite), a company that develops AI-powered autonomous technology for defense and off-road operations. Under the deal, FUSE purchased 100% ownership of Bluewhite.

Founded in 2017 and based in Tel Aviv, Blue White Robotics Ltd. has developed an advanced off-road autonomous driving platform that can work with different types of vehicles and equipment.

The company’s main products include Pathfinder, a system that converts regular vehicles into fully autonomous vehicles, and Compass, a cloud-based software platform for managing vehicle fleets. These technologies help turn ground vehicles into smart autonomous fleets that can perform complex tasks in difficult environments.

Bluewhite has completed more than 100,000 hours of autonomous operations across agriculture and defense sectors, showing strong experience and proven performance in both commercial and military markets.

The acquisition strengthens FUSE’s autonomous technology capabilities by adding advanced ground robotics solutions to its existing drone and swarm technologies. This will help the company provide more advanced robotic systems and manned-unmanned teaming (MUM-T) solutions to defense and homeland security customers around the world.

"Autonomy and robotics are reshaping how defense forces operate today" said Eyal Dahan, CEO of Fuse. "The world is changing rapidly, and modern battlefields require vast adoption of robotics capabilities. The integration of Bluewhite’s technologies into FUSE’s multi-domain ecosystem enhances our ability to deliver unified autonomous solutions across air, land, and indoor domains. This step enhances FUSE's autonomous robotics capabilities, positioning the company to effectively address the growing global demand for scalable, AI-powered autonomy".

“This is a thrilling new chapter for our technology and our amazing team,” said Ben Alfi, Bluewhite CEO. "Our mission has always been to bring practical autonomy to the field. By joining forces with FUSE and Elbit Systems, we gain a unique platform to bring our AI-driven ground autonomy technology to scale across defense, security and industrial applications. I believe the combination of Bluewhite’s proven autonomy expertise and Elbit Systems’ advanced technologies and extensive operational experience will accelerate the deployment of intelligent autonomous systems in some of the world’s most demanding environments".

Blue White Robotics Ltd. first developed its technology for the agriculture industry, where it helped automate farming tasks such as seeding, spraying, and harvesting using upgraded tractors. The company also created software for remote fleet management and data analysis, allowing operators to monitor and control multiple autonomous machines at the same time.
