Fortinet Appoints Luca Simonelli as Senior Vice President for APAC Region

Based in Singapore, Simonelli will lead Fortinet's sales team across the Asia Pacific region.

He will oversee the company's business in Japan, North Asia, South Asia, Southeast Asia, India & SAARC, Australia, and New Zealand.

In his new role, Simonelli will focus on growing Fortinet's business, building stronger relationships with customers and partners, and supporting the company's expansion across the region.

Luca Simonelli has more than 30 years of experience in the technology industry. He has worked in cybersecurity, networking, SASE, cloud security, and managed services.

Before joining Fortinet again, Simonelli held a senior leadership position at GCX Managed Services.

He also spent nearly eight years at Fortinet, where he led the company's business across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). During that time, he built strong teams and helped grow the business across the region.

Luca Simonelli holds a master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Milan. He is currently based in Singapore.
