The Global FinTech Institute (GFI) and ICP Hub Singapore have partnered to advance FinTech and Web3 sectors.
The two organisations stated in a statement,that they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) outlining their commitment to fostering innovation, talent development, and community engagement within the industry.
The announcement states that GFI and ICP Hub Singapore will work together on a number of projects meant to promote connection and sustainable growth in the FinTech and Web3 ecosystems.
Among these projects is a joint effort on the soon-to-be digital platform FLEX, an open investment marketplace intended to link international FinTech entrepreneurs with investors across the globe.
The collaboration will also support and advertise GFI’s Chartered FinTech Professional (CFtP) certification program to the community and collaborate on the creation of educational materials specifically for the financial sector in order to foster knowledge exchange and the acquisition of new skills.
“We are thrilled to partner with ICP Hub Singapore, This collaboration will enable us to leverage each other’s strengths and resources, driving the growth and development of the FinTech and Web3 ecosystems,” said Prof David Lee Kuo Chuen, Co-Founder and Chairman of Global FinTech Institute.
The Global Fintech Institute (GFI) is a nonprofit think tank that promotes collaboration between businesses, academic institutions, and regulatory bodies.

GFI uses research, whitepapers, and conversations to address issues facing the digital asset landscape and to influence industry standards and legislation. GFI, a Singaporean company, promotes innovation while guaranteeing legal compliance and consumer safety.
Meanwhile, Aaron Ting, Co-Founder of ICP Hub Singapore, said the firm’s partnership with GFI is a significant step forward in their mission to build a globally connected web3 ecosystem. Together, we can create meaningful opportunities for startups, investors, and professionals in the industry,” he added.
Among its programs is the Chartered Fintech Professional (CFtP) program, which gives professionals the tools they need to succeed in the fast-paced fintech world of today.
By promoting fintech standards and best practices, GFI works to create a more equitable and effective global financial system.
