Google Cloud has appointed Hana Raja as its new Country Manager for Malaysia, showing its strong focus on digital growth and AI innovation in the country.
In this role, Hana will lead the local strategies and operations for Google Cloud and Google Workspace. She’ll work with teams across Google to help Malaysian businesses use powerful, AI-based cloud solutions.
Hana will report to Serene Sia, Google Cloud’s Country Director for Malaysia and Singapore, who oversees business across both nations.

Hana brings over 16 years of leadership experience. She has worked in top roles at Cisco and Bain & Company, where she helped businesses in sectors like finance, retail, healthcare, energy, and government grow and improve customer experiences.
Serene Sia said, “Hana joins us at a pivotal time in Google Cloud’s expansion in Malaysia, We’re making major investments in infrastructure, including the sovereign cloud with Dagang NeXchange Berhad (DNeX), a Google Cloud region, and a data center in Elmina Business Park. We’re also supporting national-scale initiatives such as AI at Work 2.0 with the Ministry of Digital and the National AI Office (NAIO), and Teraju AI Selangor with the Selangor state government. With Hana’s strategic vision, deep industry knowledge, and focus on culture, she’s well-positioned to lead the next phase of our growth and deepen our engagement with local organisations.”
