France awarded Roshni Nadar Malhotra, Chairperson of HCLTech, the “Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur” (Knight of the Legion of Honour). Her entrepreneurial contributions, tireless promotion of France-India economic connections, and dedication to humanitarian and environmental causes earned her the medal.
Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur, instituted by Napoleon Bonaparte in 1802, is the highest civilian medal bestowed by the French Republic for extraordinary service to France, regardless of nationality. French Presidents are Legion of Honour Grand Masters.

The HCLTech Chairperson received the award from H.E. Mr. Thierry Mathou, Ambassador of France to India, on behalf of the French President, during a special ceremony at the Residence of France in Delhi.
