In order to provide Micro, Small, and Medium-Sized Enterprises (MSMEs) with customized digital payment solutions, Vodafone Idea’s enterprise division Vi Business and Prosus-owned digital payments behemoth PayU India have partnered.

In addition, goods to support MSMEs will be made available, such as mobile security solutions, Google Workspace, personal cloud storage, and location monitoring.

Digital solutions, such as buy-now-pay-later possibilities, personalized offer engines, payment solutions, and seamless WhatsApp integration, will be made available as part of this agreement.

In addition, a statement said that tools including mobile security solutions, Google Workspace, personal cloud storage, and location monitoring will be made available to help MSMEs effectively manage their digital workplace, as well as business and customer interactions.

PayU’s CEO Anirban Mukherjee said, “Our partnership with Vi Business is a testament to our commitment to supporting Indian MSMEs in their digital transformation. Together, we are providing a robust suite of business and digital finance solutions designed to increase revenues and boost efficiency, enabling these MSMEs to thrive in today’s competitive market.”

In addition, Vi says that through its ReadyForNext program, it provides MSMEs with a particular variety of digital products at discounted pricing. To assist MSMEs in effectively managing their digital workplace and business relationships, these tools include mobile security solutions, Google Workspace, personal cloud storage, and location monitoring.

This event occurs shortly after PayU reported revenue growth of yearly percentage in the fiscal year 2023–2024 (FY24). Interestingly, the revenue increase for FY23 and FY22, with yearly surges of 31% and 40%, respectively, exceeded growth for FY24.

However, because the company was unable to onboard new merchants because of its pending payment aggregator application with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), this was less than the 31% revenue rise in FY23 and the over 40% spike in FY22.
