Info Edge Announces Leadership Changes With New CFO and Independent Director

Info Edge (India) Ltd. is making changes to its leadership team with Himanshu Agarwal set to take charge as Chief Financial Officer and Naresh Chand Gupta joining the board as an Independent Director.

Agarwal will take over as CFO and Additional Director from September 17, 2026. He is also proposed to become a Whole time Director for a five-year period ending September 16, 2031. The appointment will require shareholder and other applicable approvals.

With more than 30 years of experience, Agarwal has worked across finance leadership, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and business transformation. His experience includes roles with listed companies in India and overseas.

Naresh Chand Gupta will join the board from October 1, 2026 as an Additional Director under the Independent category. Info Edge has proposed his appointment as a Non-Executive Independent Director for five years, through September 30, 2031, subject to the required approvals.

Gupta is a designated partner at Accuracap Technologies LLP and serves as Chief Scientist at Accuracap Consultancy Services. He is also an Independent Director at eClerx Services and NoPaperForms Solutions. Earlier, he served as Managing Director of Adobe Systems India and as an Independent Director at Affle (India) now known as Affle 3i.

Gupta is a designated partner at Accuracap Technologies LLP and Chief Scientist at Accuracap Consultancy Services. He also serves as an Independent Director at eClerx Services and NoPaperForms Solutions. 

Earlier, he was Managing Director of Adobe Systems India and served as an Independent Director at Affle (India), now known as Affle 3i.

Meanwhile, Ambarish Raghuvanshi, who has served as Info Edge’s Interim CFO since November 20, 2025, will step down from the role at the close of business on September 16, 2026.

Raghuvanshi will continue with the company as Finance Advisor until October 31, 2026, supporting the transition and handover process. Info Edge and its Board have appreciated his contribution during his tenure as Interim CFO.
