
Johnson Stokes & Master (JSM) has named Geoffrey Chan as its new Senior Partner. He will take over from Terence Tung, who held the position for the past ten years.
Before this appointment, Chan was the head of JSM's Litigation & Dispute Resolution department. He was also a member of the firm's four-person Management Committee. In his new role, he will lead the committee and help manage the firm's operations and future strategy.
Chan is widely recognized as a leading expert in construction law and has been highly ranked by major legal directories. He has served as an arbitrator for both the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC) and the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC).
In addition, he chairs the 2036 Working Group, a Hong Kong-based organization that supports a joint bid by Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area (GBA) to host the 2036 Olympic Games.
