Malaysia-based automotive after-sales startup ServAuto has raised a new round of funding, led by Vynn Capital, the company announced on Tuesday.
Other investors in the round include Jelawang Capital, Openspace Capital, SWC Global, Gobi Partners, and several angel investors. The company did not share the exact amount raised, but said that its total funding so far is close to $6 million since it was launched.
We saw the same opportunity in after-sales that we saw in the used-car market years ago: a massive industry suffering from a lack of trust and standardisation,” said Phoy Yong Hao, Co-Founder of ServAuto. “Automotive after-sales should be simple and reliable. With this
funding, we can scale a consistent experience nationwide, backed by a tech-enabled supply chain that guarantees verified products.”
“We believe some of the most compelling opportunities in Malaysia and broader Southeast Asia sit at the intersection of mobility, operations, and real-world execution,” said Victor Chua, Founding & Managing Partner of Vynn Capital.
Founded in 2024 by former CARSOME executives, ServAuto focuses on improving Malaysia’s automotive after-sales market, which is still highly fragmented and mostly offline, even though the country has a large number of vehicle owners.
Many car owners struggle with uneven service quality, unclear pricing, and doubts about genuine spare parts. ServAuto aims to fix these issues by bringing more transparency, consistency, and trust to the after-sales car service experience.
ServAuto follows a digital-first approach, letting customers buy car services and products online and book appointments easily. These bookings can be made through its own platform, e-commerce channels, and partner apps like CARSOME and Touch ’n Go.
Unlike typical marketplaces that only connect customers with service providers, ServAuto controls service quality directly. It sources spare parts straight from manufacturers and distributors and follows standard processes across its own and partner workshops to ensure reliable and consistent service.
