Multipolitan Secures $2 Mn to Build Global Mobility Platform

Singapore-based mobility technology company Multipolitan has raised $2 million in a seed funding round led by EmergentX at a pre-money valuation of $25 million. The company will use the funding to launch its mobile app and expand its private client services.

EmergentX Leads $2 Million Seed Round

Multipolitan announced that it secured $2 million in seed funding from EmergentX, a global venture studio, accelerator and incubator. The investment values the company at $25 million before the funding.

The company plans to use the fresh capital to support the launch of the Multipolitan App and expand its Multipolitan Private Client service.

Building a Global Mobility Platform

Multipolitan aims to simplify the process of living, travelling and moving between countries through a single digital platform.

People who travel or relocate internationally often need to manage multiple documents, including passports, visas, insurance and other immigration requirements. Multipolitan aims to bring these services together and make cross-border mobility easier for individuals and families.

According to the company, more than 1.5 billion international trips take place every year, while over 300 million people live outside their country of birth.

Two Products to Support International Mobility

Multipolitan offers two main services: Multipolitan Private Client and Multipolitan App. The app is scheduled to launch in December 2026.

The platform uses three proprietary technologies:

  • INREX: An immigration intelligence engine designed to support immigration-related processes.
  • FlightIQ: A real-time travel intelligence platform.
  • Visa Connect: An AI-powered visa engine that helps manage visa-related requirements.

These technologies aim to bring immigration, visa, travel and cross-border administration services together.

Private Client Business Generates Over $4 Million

Multipolitan said its Private Client business has generated more than $4 million in net revenue in less than two years.

The company believes this performance has helped validate its business model and provided customer insights that will support the development of its mobile app.

Lee Smith, Co-founder of Multipolitan, said that international travel involves managing several requirements beyond booking flights, including passports, visas, insurance and pre-arrival documents. He added that these responsibilities can become difficult for families managing multiple passports and visas.
